Y2 Be Safe, Be Happy Week 2025: Kitchen Safety!

4th Nov 2025

Our wonderful kitchen team from Taylor Shaw taught our children how to make apple crumble.

They discussed how some things in the kitchen are only for adults, for example, getting hot things out of the oven or using the stove.

They also thought about the things that can be done by children if they are watched closely and helped by their adults, including careful cutting and chopping with a sensible knife.

They also discussed the importance of keeping the kitchen and themselves clean.

Our friends from Taylor Shaw taught the children how to make the crumble using butter, flour and oats.

Everyone brought home a crumble to be baked at home.

We thank our dear friends from Taylor Shaw for all their help and support!
