Y1: Understanding Baptism!

We have been learning about the Sacrament of Baptism.

We talked about how Baptism is a special moment when we are welcomed formally into the Church Family.

The children have been so interested and learned so much including all about the symbols of baptism, e.g. the cross, holy oil, the font, holy water, Baptismal candle and the wearing of white garment and shawl.

We also shared all the wonderful photos and Baptismal cards that were sent in.
