Australia continued

10th Jul 2018

We are loving all of our work about Australia!

The children have been learning about some of the famous landmarks of Australia. The children wrote their own postcards as though they were having their own real adventure 'down under'.

Today we thought about our favourite Australian animals and how we could find out which were the most popular.

We created a Y1 class pictogram and the children answered questions about what it revealed.

We have also discovered how a didgeridoo is made and the everyone had a go at designing and making their own instrument of their own, which they then decorated in an Aboriginal style!

Baking tomorrow...
