Ask or Tell?

29th Jan 2019

We have been having fun asking questions and then shouting exclamations!

When some of the children are a little muddled when deciding if we are asking them a question or telling them something we play 'Ask or Tell'

When we say something, for example:

  • "Can you help me?"  or
  • "I am cold."

They have to respond: 'ask' or 'tell'.

If you could play this game at home it would really help the children! Let us know how you get along.

Please remember a question requires them to reply to you with an answer, whereas a statement does not need a reply.

This is how we ask them to decide.
