Ash Wednesday

6th Mar 2022

I would like to thank Fr Bede for celebrating our Ash Wednesday Mass this week. It was a wonderfully fitting way to start the important season of Lent, as preparation for Easter. The liturgy was led beautifully by the young people of Y6. All the children behaved well and joined in. They were all an absolute credit our school.

I would like to thank Mrs Barrett for helping to sort the liturgy; Mr MacInnes and Mrs Walton for preparing the children so well; Mr McGurrin, Mrs Downes, Mrs Tandy and Seb for providing and leading the beautiful music. I would like to thank the Parish Wardens and finally all the parents and carers who were able to join us. Fr Bede gave permission for a recording of the Mass to be made, which can be viewed online via this link.
