In science the children have been thinking about lots of different kinds of animals.
We listed their features then considered all the different ways they could be grouped using different criteria.
For example:
- legs and no legs
- tail and no tail
- feathers and no feathers
We then classified them as the following:
- mammals amphibians
- birds
- fish
- reptiles
- invertebrates
The children then regrouped the pictures, thinking carefully about characteristics of each group.
