FS2: All Creatures Great and Small!

17th Jun 2025

The children in FS2 have really enjoyed finding out about the animals that live in our school grounds. Many of them are very small and they know that is it so important to take care when we look at them and keep the environment clean and safe for them. They have enjoyed making a large minibeast hotel, a 'home' for some garden snails, and we are becoming very good at identifying the more unusual animals - such as a shield bug and ladybird larvae.

They have a new bird feeder and the children created their own look out area - we have been visited by a robin family, blue tits and blackbirds.
