Y1 English: All Aboard for Our Train Ride Adventure!

11th Jan 2023

Today the class enjoyed a special 'experience' lesson as part of an introduction to our new key text: 'The Train Ride'

The children were each given a ticket so that they could board the train and the conductor checked tickets, before we set off. On our journey we passed through lush countryside as well as a dark gloomy tunnel.

Sadly the train had a problem which meant that we had to wait a while but the children were given refreshments.

After an exciting journey we arrived at our destination, finally.

The children then left the train to shouts of 'Mind the Gap, please!'.
