Active Maths and the 'Weekly Mile'

Today we engaged in an active maths session. Linking to our work on time, we wanted to see how many of an activity we could do in a minute- these ranged from running a distance, dribbling a hockey ball and skipping.

We had a great time and we are aiming to 'beat our best' next week.

We then under took our weekly mile challenge. It was more difficult today as the sun had come out and it was much warmer. We know that the important thing is to keep moving, so we tried our best by walking, jogging or running.
