The children have been working hard to recognise numerals up to 10 and forming them correctly when they write them.
They are now practising counting objects, using 1:1 correspondence, which means counting different amounts of objects accurately as they say each number and touch the next object to be counted.
Some children used equipment called 'tens frames' for support.
The children worked brilliantly with their partners, especially when completing various 'talk tasks'.
