The Y1 Austerfield Adventure!

7th Jul 2025

Our Y1 children enjoyed a fantastic educational visit to the Austerfield Study Centre, this week.

They were able to use the opportunity to consolidate previous learning and linked to our 'Plants' topic in science. They created some wonderful 'wild art' using natural materials gathered from the woodland area and as the sun shone, everyone enjoyed this special time together. and had a wonderful day. The children were an absolute credit to their parents/carers and our school.

We thank Mrs Sambrook for all her hard work in arranging and coordinating this important visit, as well as the staff who supported her. We also thank the amazing team of parent/carer volunteers who accompanied us to make our visit possible and so special. What a memorable day!
