SJF Harvest Mass 2020

17th Oct 2020

Our Harvest Mass, led by the young people of Y5 will be filmed at the 10.00am parish Mass next Thursday 22nd October 2020. Places will therefore be extremely limited.

The Mass will be filmed and the recording will be uploaded to our website for everyone to view the following day. The wider school community, including the children in all the other classes, will watch the recording of the Mass on Friday 23rd October 2020. Y5 children can wear PE uniform.

As in previous years, we would be extremely grateful if you would donate some food which we will then pass on directly to the St Wilfred’s Centre in Sheffield. As Sheffield families struggle with consequences of the pandemic, never have  your donations been more needed than now!

It is important that donated food is non-perishable, so items such as tins of meat, fish, soup, vegetables and fruit; packets of crisps, cereals, dried ‘Pot Noodle’-type products, biscuits, drinking chocolate, instant mashed potato, pasta, rice and dried noodles are ideal. Anything tinned or dried is perfect.

All donations will be gratefully received and can be left in a box next to Mr Andrews at the beginning and end of each school day. Thank you in anticipation of your generosity and support.
