Santa in School 2021

5th Dec 2021

Today we were visited by Santa! Everyone looked brilliant, dressed in their favourite Christmas clothes! The day began with Santa and his elves greeting our children as they arrived for the start of the day! The children were so excited to visit Santa in his grotto and spend time at the Christmas fayre. Our friends from the PTFA had done a magnificent job transforming the parish centre in to a winter wonderland for everyone to enjoy!

I would like to thank Santa and our incredible PTFA for all their tremendous hard work in organising this special flagship event - which has been almost a year in the planning. I would like to thank them for all they have done to make everything feel as normal as possible in spite of the restrictions that are in place. It has been an incredible feat, and one that is very much appreciated by us all! Please check out the website for more photographs.

Special events like this, which contribute so richly to our children’s experience of school, do not happen by magic. They take planning and teamwork. If you would like to get involved and help our PTFA to continue to make a real difference to every child in our school please get in touch. All offers of help are appreciated greatly.

New members and their fundraising ideas are always welcome! If you want to find out more please email Catherine Cooper, the Chair, and the PTFA committee (ptfa@st-johnfisher.org). Thank you.

Here are some pictures from our special day. Thank you again PTFA! Thank you to all the volunteers too!
