Our January Prayer

15th Jan 2021

Our January prayer is the Agnus Dei or ‘The Lamb of God’.

The prayer is said during the part of Mass that recalls Jesus’ last supper with His apostles.

The Last Supper was when the bread and wine were transformed in to the Body and Blood of Christ for the first time, and then shared by Jesus with his friends.

It is therefore a very special prayer that reminds us that Jesus lived and died to save us by taking away our sins.

Lamb of God, You take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us

Lamb of God, You take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us

Lamb of God, You take away the sins of the world, grant us peace
