Moving Up Days 2022

As part of our preparations for the approaching taster days, the children pay a short visit to their new classes on Friday 1^st July 2022, in order to meet their new teacher(s) and see their new classroom. Staff will also take them to their new classrooms from the playground, to help them know where they will be going.

Our 'moving up' days will be place on Monday 4th, Tuesday 5^th and Wednesday 6th July 2022, for all children currently in FS2, Y1, Y2, Y3, Y4, Y5 and all Y6 children not transferring to All Saints Catholic High School; and finally, for those joining us in FS2 in September 2022, who have received letters setting out the arrangements.

There will be a huge focus on preparing and supporting all the children and especially those who struggle most with change. After 'Wake Up Shake Up' on the first transition day (04-07-22), the children will be guided by staff straight to the rooms where they will be based. Staff will also help anyone needing encouragement and support. Times for lunch and the end of the day will be the same as in their current classes. A reminder that PE will continue on the same days that the children have PE currently, as set out below:

· Monday 4^th July 2022	FS2 children who are moving to Y1 in September 2022
· Tuesday 5^th July 2022	Y1 and Y2 children who will be moving to Y2 and Y3 in September 2022
· Wednesday 6^th July 2022	Y3 and Y4 children who will be moving to Y4 and Y5 in September 2022
