Y1 Art: Exploring the Art of Andy Warhol

Last week the children explored different works of art created by the artist Andy Warhol.

They considered the different features and discussed the choices he made e.g. repeating pattern and colours.

They then considered whether they they liked his work and gave reasons for their answers.

They then had a go at creating their own Warhol-inspired artwork, using different media and linking this work to the previous work we have for self-portraits.
